Thrive Life’s Freeze Dried Food Sale Starts April 18, 2023!
Don’t miss it!
Quick note – If you want to purchase any of these, the sooner you purchase them, the better. These will start to sell out quickly – some as early as 4/18.
What do we use?
We are capable of growing many of our own fruits and veggies, but for many of us, it’s harder to produce our own meat and make our own dairy products, so that’s usually where we focus our monetary investments.
Sausage Crumbles
Today, we used Thrive’s Freeze Dried Sausage Crumbles in homemade Biscuits and Gravy. Don’t care for biscuits and gravy? (Shame on you! Okay, I’m just kidding) Here are some other sausage recipes in which we use sausage crumbles.
Ground Beef
There are so many ways that we use freeze dried ground beef. Chili! I mean who doesn’t love chili? Want a great food storage variation on the recipe? Find my chili recipe here. But in Thrive Life’s sale this week only – Ground Beef is on sale!
Pulled Pork
A very simple food storage meal is pulled pork nachos. Thrive Life’s Pulled Pork is on sale this week. Rehydrate the pork, add your own homemade BBQ sauce, put it over some tortilla chips and sprinkle some cheese on top of it all.
Cheddar Cheese
I don’t know about you, but cheese is a BIG downfall for our family. There are six of us still at home and we go throught one of the large Costco bags of cheese in a month. And if life were to get hard, we would miss our cheese! Freeze Dried Cheddar Cheese to the rescue!! We stock this cheese as a part of our long-term and short-term food storage. Do you like egg casserole? You can find my egg casserols recipe (which uses cheddar cheese) here.
Mozarella Cheese
Want to make your own pizzas – even if you are eating off of food storage? You can absolutely do that with Thrive Life’s Freeze Dried Mozarella Cheese.
Tomato Powder
You’re right. This isn’t a meat or a protein, but we use Thrive Life’s Tomato Powder ALL THE TIME! Want to make tomato sauce, tomato paste, or tomato juice? No problem! You can use tomato powder for it! How about homemade pizza sauce? Yep. You can use tomato powder for that too. Ketchup, barbeque sauce, Condensed Tomato Soup, all can be made with tomato powder. All of the clickable links in this secion use tomato powder in the recipe. Check them out!
Gluten Free? No problem!
We have had issues with gluten in our family off and on for years. If, however, you are looking for an AMAZING gluten free flour, Thrive Life has it for you!! But this is a limited time item and could sell out very quickly. Make sure you grab it as quickly as possible!
FIFO Can Systems are on sale!!!
Okay, one of the best investments that we’ve ever made was purchasing four can systems. We purchased a Variety Can System because these will accommodate cans that I purchase from the store as well as Thrive’s pantry can’s and any #10 size can. I can’t swear by these enough. They also have two other types – The Family Can system is for all #10 cans. The Pantry Can System is for Thrive Life’s Pantry can’s only.
But that’s not all!! Are you looking for smaller size units for cans in your actual pantry or under your beds or other hidden places – they have the Cansolidator Pantry Plus, The Cansolidator Pantry, and the Cansolidator Cupboard.
